Back-to-School Update with Mark Steele With students back in the classroom, this is a great time to hear directly about what is happening in our local schools. Our guest speaker, Mark Steele, President of the Indian River School District Board of Education, will give us a back-to-school update, including where our students stand academically and the district’s work on reading, math, attendance, discipline, and student achievement.

Are your campaign signs disappearing? The 38th has received a report of five campaign signs removed from private property without permission. We want to know if it's happening elsewhere. If you've had signs go missing—for any candidate—report it to the police, then let us know so we can track the reports and determine whether there's a pattern.

The first real voting numbers are in — and some of them surprised me. We can now see who is turning out across Delaware, Sussex County, the 38th and 41st — and how Republicans and Democrats are choosing to vote. One difference in particular should get every Republican’s attention. Take a look at what the numbers are telling us so far.
