How Many Republicans vs Democrats Have Voted Absentee So Far?

The Mighty 38th will be door knocking again this Sunday, August 11th, at 1:00 pm, in a neighborhood near you. Let us know if you can walk around a pleasant neighborhood for about an hour and a half to get out the Republican vote. We will get commitments to vote from our Republican neighbors and hand out Absentee Ballot Request forms as needed. This is how we lay the groundwork to support a Republican win in Delaware, and we need YOU to do it!

If you cannot make the door knockings, we still need your help to make phone calls to neighbors. We will provide the list and the script. Too many Republicans still feel that their vote doesn't count and are not inclined to come out to vote. It is vital beyond belief that they do!

Already Voted Absentee as of:

8/6/2024

1,738 people have voted in Delaware by Absentee for this 2024 Primary Election

367 are Republican (21%)

1,369 are Democrat (79%)

8/9/2024

2,667 total

567 Republican (21%)

2,100 Democrat (79%)

Can you see that we have a problem here? There is only one way to win elections, and that is to vote. So if you are reading this, then you care about our elections. So please volunteer to make phone calls to your neighbors to encourage, no HARASS them to come out to vote! Yes, more Republicans may come out to vote at the polls instead of by Absentee Voting, and this is the Primary Election not the General Election, but let's not take that chance, and let's put forth the best effort we've got NOW. So please email info@38thdrcp.com if you can take 20 minutes out of your day, to call a few of your neighbors. Please hand out Absentee Request forms like they are candy!

Election Day War Room

Yes we will have a War Room on the Primary and General Election Days. If you can, please plan to take these days off and help on 9/10/2024 and 11/5/2024. That day we will be coordinating Challengers, Greeters, and making phone calls from our War Room to get out the remaining Republicans that have not voted yet. I need to know who is on the team now, so please email if you can be a part of the winning plan. Please let me know if you are already an Election Poll Worker as well. THANK YOU for your efforts!

Other Ways to Volunteer - See Below

The best way to help your neighbor request an Absentee Ballot is to request one for yourself first! Also, if you request an Absentee Ballot, whether you actually use the ballot to vote or not, your ballot is now secure - no one else can steal it! So, there is reason #2 to go ahead and request an Absentee Ballot from the Sussex Department of Elections. Here's how!

  1. Download the Request an Absentee Ballot form. See PDF form below.

  2. Print the form and fill it out.

  3. Decide how you would like to receive your "Hot Ballot" - by mail is probably the easiest. If you have a fax machine, it can be faxed back to you. Or you will create a new secure email and it can be emailed back to you. I chose mail, and I received my ballot 2 days after I requested it!

  4. I snapped a photo of my Request an Absentee Ballot form and emailed it to absenteesc@delaware.gov, and received a confirmation email of receipt of my request that day.

  5. Once you receive your "Hot Ballot", fill it out and mail it back in, it's that simple!

If you choose to not use your Absentee Ballot, you can keep it as back up and go ahead and vote in person. Just keep that Absentee Ballot in your back pocket and if the Polling place says someone already voted in your name, then you can whip out that Absentee Ballot and prove voter fraud right on the spot!

We Need Your Help This Election! This is How YOU Can Help

Challengers

Also very important, we will need Primary Election Challengers. Challengers will have the ability to go into the polling location, review the setup and processes. For example, double check that there are enough paper back up ballots available! We will have a checklist for our Challengers. Hours are flexible, though we will want our Challengers present when the polls open, or shortly thereafter. We need Challengers for Early Voting days as well as on the Primary Election date 9/10/2024. So please email info@38thdrcp.com if you are able to be a Challenger. We need YOU!

Drivers

If you can volunteer to give rides to voters or drive between the polling locations to deliver materials to/from our Challengers and our 38th GOP War Room, please email info@38thdrcp.com.

Exit Polls/Poll Greeters

If you can volunteer to man our GOP tents at your polling location and take exit polls, please email here. This is also a flexible position. It is best done with a partner, so enlist a friend!

Sign up to be a poll greeter and take exit polls!

Primary Election Preparation Dates

There are also several dates that the Department of Elections allows the public to witness their preparation of ballots and the electronic voting equipment. These are poorly attended. We need to change this as well. If you can be available to attend any of these events, please try your best to be a public witness! Your only job is to be curious and ask questions!! Please email info@38thdrcp.com and let us know which event you can attend.

Request An Absentee Ballot

You can also easily request an Absentee ballot. You can request an absentee ballot if you will be working that day (including working at the polls on election day), will be away, or will be unable to make it into the polls. All you need to do is visit the DOE's website, complete the form online, download the pre-filled form, sign and email/mail/fax back to the Department of Elections. The DOE will then send you a "Hot" ballot in the mail, or by fax or secure email (your choice). You then complete the ballot and email/mail/fax back to the DOE.

Help Someone Else Request An Absentee Ballot

More importantly, do you know someone who won't be able to make it to the polls? Then help them request an absentee ballot! You can print an unfilled form (see below for blank form) and bring it to them, help them fill it out and email/mail/fax back to the Department of Elections and the DOE will mail/email/fax a "hot" ballot right back to them, which the person will then complete and email/mail/fax back to the DOE.

What is odd, is that you can request the "hot" absentee ballot be mailed to any address.

You can help your neighbor request an Absentee Ballot

How to Help Others Request an Absentee Ballot:

  1. Carry blank Absentee Ballot request forms with you. See link to download and print.

  2. Or go to https://ivote.de.gov/VoterView enter their name and other data, print the pre-filled form. They will nee to sign the form.

  3. Take a photo of the completed Absentee Request form, and email the photo of the form to the DOE at absenteesc@delaware.gov

  4. They will receive a reply by email stating that the Absentee Ballot was requested.
