Congratulations is in order on the first FUNdraiser that our club has sponsored since 2019 and it was a GOOD one! We were able to raise over $1,000 on this Patriotically themed event at a very beachy location right here in the 38th District. We heard from several of our republican candidates who will be facing competition at the upcoming Primary Election on September 13th, and from Representative Ron Gray, who thankfully will NOT be primaried and we are grateful for that! A big shout out and thank you to the Bridgemans who supplied and put up the decorations, they were fantastic! Thank you to all members who donated some unique and thoughtful items to the Silent Auction, with a special thank you to Indian River School Board member, Dr. Donald Hattier for his donation toward our auction. With the money we have raised we will continue to contribute to the campaigns of our Republican candidates, thank you to all our candidates who have stepped up to contribute to and protect our conservative values here in Sussex County and Delaware.
Our next event will be a Bonfire on the Beach by Representative Ron Gray's Fenwick beach home on Tuesday August 16th, more info to follow! There is no official club meeting in August
Please be prepared to volunteer at your polling location as a Republican greeter on September 13th and on November 8th for the elections. You may contact Bob Lawless, our Republican Representative District Coordinator, to let him know when and where you can volunteer Robert.Lawless@mchsi.com on both of these days.
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, September 26th 630pm at the Bethany South Coastal Library, 43 Kent Avenue, Bethany Beach. Our club is open to new members who support Republican ideals and who reside in the 38th District.
