38th District Republican Club Meeting, Monday 9/25 with Senator Hocker

Tropical Storm Ophelia has officially washed away summer, but with that, we restart our monthly Mighty 38th District Republican Club, PAC meetings! Please plan to attend our Club meeting this Monday with a fun change in location to the Fenwick Crab House. The owners of Fenwick Crab House have generously donated their venue to us, they are true patriots, and we thank them! We will have dining seating, so you may order dinner, appetizers and beverages. Meet and greet begins at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to support a local business during the off season, please call to make a reservation if you would like to get dinner so Fenwick Island Crab House can better prepare at 302-539-2500.

Come join the 38th District Republican Club Meeting at the Fenwick Crab House

Since 2023-2024 is a very important election year, we will be discussing how we in the 38th District can help keep our Republican representatives in office and further support the State and Country to elect conservatives who believe in the God given sovereignty and responsibility of the individual.

Senator Gerald Hocker

Our featured speaker will be none other than our illustrious Senate Minority Leader Senator Gerald Hocker. Many of you may not know, but Senator Hocker was instrumental in creating the 38th District Republican Club, for a very defined purpose. Now more than ever, that purpose, is more relevant than ever. So please come on out and hear what Senator Hocker has to share!

This meeting will also be a working meeting. We will be soliciting ideas from the audience and members, what YOU would like to see happen in our 38th District, how we can support the 2024 elections. The 38th District Republican Election District Captains will be available so you can meet Your Election District Captain and offer your support and ideas that affect your neighborhood and precinct. Check here to see which precinct you live in and where you voting location is. There have been many changes and additions to precincts and polling locations since last election, so you will want to check.

Speaking of elections, the Club will have its election for Vice President and Secretary. We have candidates for both positions. If you are interested in running for either position, please contact the Club at info@38thdrcp.com

There are also open officer positions for the Sussex County Republican Commitee and that election will be held on Monday, October 9th. Open officer positions are for Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Any republican who is registered to vote in Sussex County is eligible to run for these offices. If you would like more information or would like an officer application, you may email info@38thdrcp.com and we will forward your information to the SCRC interim Secretary.

And don't forget to RSVP for the Delaware Republican Party Town Hall with State Chair Julianne Murray on Tuesday, September 26th at Mulligan's Point Georgetown. Doors open at 6 p.m., Town Hall begins at 7 p.m. and Tunnel 2 Towers fundraiser with Newsmax Wise Guys taping begins at 8 p.m. donation at the door of $35.

This LAW requires the Department of Education (DOE) to make electric-powered school buses a part of its annual bus procurement, starting with 5% of purchases in Fiscal Year 2025 and increasing annually to 30% in FY 2030. The DOE buys about 50 buses a year. The bill will cost taxpayers an additional $2.6 million during its first two years of implementation. Do you think Delaware tax payers should spend $2.6 million more on electric buses instead of on education? It’s time to change that, vote Republican!
