Early Voting is now complete, and Tuesday, Nov 5, Election Day begins at 7am. Early voting is still relatively new for Delaware, and this is the first election that Early Voting has been embraced by Republicans. Republicans up and down the state have outpaced the democrats when it comes to percentage of registered party voters coming out to vote with 39% of registered republicans having voted early compared to 22% of democrats having voted early. Independents and other parties remain relatively unengaged with only 32% voter turnout.
Delaware Election Still Up For Grabs
Total voter turnout statewide is 31%. Which means, depending on who comes out to vote tomorrow, this race is still up for grabs. So far we are entering Election Day with a democrat 13 point lead over republicans. But if 63% of Independents/Other Parties vote with us, Republicans could take this election!
Mighty 38th, let's do our part tomorrow to turn Delaware RED! On Election Day, the Department of Elections will put out 3 lists, of citizens who have not voted yet. These lists will come out at 10am, 1pm and 4pm. We will be dividing these lists and calling these folks to make sure they come out to vote and provide rides as needed.
Please plan to meet tomorrow at the 38th War Room at Mio Fratellos on 54 at 10am for the first call list. Yes, we need YOU! Jet fuel and doughnuts provided. Only have an hour? Come to the War Room. Have errands to run? Come to the War Room. Care about our country? Come to the War Room. Want Donald J. Trump elected??? Come to the War Room!!!
Election Party to follow 6-10pm as we livestream the Election results and will virtually join the DE GOP Election Party in Wilmington. Grab dinner, drinks, and hang out with the finest crowd in town.
38th Republican Report
In The 38th District 71% Republicans have already voted early and Republicans have an 18 point lead over 38th democrats.
Return Day Georgetown On The Circle
Return Day is a not to be missed event in Delaware, the last of its kind relic of English customs, harking back to the days of old, when citizens travelled from all over the County to hear the results of the election, and bury the hatchet, literally and figuratively. The day will begin at 9am, and you will want to be there before 11am, definitely before the candidate parade begins at 1:30pm. Following the parade will be the Reading of the Returns and free traditional Ox Roast. All of the attorney offices On The Circle will be open, with free food and strong drinks, plenty of sponsored tents, with free food, giveaways, more strong drinks. A good place to park is at Millsboro Fire Hall.
Please RSVP to info@38thdrcp.com to carpool on Thursday with the 38th. We will leave from Hockers on 17, time to be determined, but probably around 10am. Sussex GOP will have a tent and the Sussex GOP office will be open for a breakroom and restroom.
Thank you, everyone, and let's turn Delaware RED!!
