Note from Our Chair, Julianne Murray:

Good Evening!

I hope this email finds you well. Just two days ago, the Superior Court issued a groundbreaking decision declaring early voting and permanent absentee voting as UNCONSTITUTIONAL. This is a monumental ruling with far-reaching implications for our electoral process.

Attached to this email, you will find the official decision from the court. It's crucial that we understand the implications of this ruling and its potential effects on future elections.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Jane Brady and the Public Interest Legal Foundation for their relentless pursuit in this matter. Back in February 2022, when this lawsuit was initially filed, I voiced my confidence in its validity. Now, seeing this decision come to fruition, I am grateful to Jane and PILF for overcoming all procedural obstacles and securing a decision on the merits.

While it's anticipated that this decision will be appealed to the Delaware Supreme Court, I firmly believe that the Superior Court's stance will prevail. It's a pivotal moment, and I encourage you to stay informed and engaged as this legal process unfolds.

Julianne Murray
