Be Part of Caesar Rodney’s Legacy in 2026

Dear 38th District Members,

ree

As many of you know, I serve as Board Chair of the Caesar Rodney Institute (CRI), Delaware’s only common-sense policy think tank. If you’ve appreciated CRI’s work this year, or if you simply want to strengthen the fight for transparency, accountability, and practical governance in our state, I hope you’ll consider supporting CRI before the end of the year with a tax-deductible gift.

CRI has been a steady voice for honest data and policy accountability. This year alone, we’ve shed light on:

  • The harms and infeasibility of offshore wind and the EV mandate

  • The true state of Delaware’s education system

  • The economic impacts of costly, ineffective state policies

Looking ahead, CRI is launching a year-long civic-education initiative for 2026: Caesar Rodney 250. This is a statewide effort to honor Caesar Rodney’s historic ride, deepen civic understanding, and reintroduce Delawareans to their own heritage. The work has already begun through:

  • A virtual civic conversation on Rodney’s legacy and the removal of his Wilmington statue

  • In-person community events, including The Midnight Ride That Made a Nation

  • Civic-education engagements in Delaware high schools

Your support today will directly fund these 250th-anniversary programs throughout 2026—historical presentations, classroom conversations, community forums, and major public events designed to rebuild civic understanding in our state.

If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider making a year-end, tax-deductible gift to CRI. You can also become a member and join us as part of the team working to restore accountability and common sense in Delaware.

Every contribution strengthens our ability to serve the people of this state.

Thank you for your leadership, your involvement, and your ongoing support.

Warm regards,

Michelle Parsons, M.D.

Board Chair, Caesar Rodney Institute

The Caesar Rodney Institute (CRI) is a Delaware-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) research organization. As a nonpartisan public policy think tank, CRI provides fact-based analysis in four key areas: education, energy and environmental policy, the economy and government spending, and health policy.

Our mission is to educate and inform Delawareans—including citizens, legislators and community leaders—on issues that affect quality of life and opportunity.
