Bethany Beach 4th of July Parade

It's official, the Mighty 38th District Republican Club is registered to participate in the Bethany Beach 4th of July Parade! This is a very fun and patriotic event, and last year we were welcomed with many patriotic cheers of encouragement. Please email info@38thdrcp.com asap if you can attend and if you have any questions!


What Time Do We Meet?

Our vehicle will be in place by around 9:30 am, and we will finish the decorations once positioned. Plan to meet at our vehicle no later than 10:30 - 11:00am. The parade will kick off at noon! From the starting point, the floats will be joined by Bands-on-Trucks, marching bands, bikers and walkers, and fire trucks. The public restrooms are nearby.


What Do I Need To Bring?

Just plan to bring yourself, with your 38th District Republican t-shirt or other patriotic outfit. You may carry a USA flag. We will be handing out US flags and US stickers. Throwing candy is not allowed.


Parking

Parking is available at the South Coastal Library which is within close walking distance. If you live close to Millville By The Sea, please contact Bob W. so that you may park at his home and take the Millville By The Sea shuttle to Bethany Beach. I recommend you depart from Millville By The Sea by 9am. You will need to let Bob know ASAP if you plan to utilize the shuttle as shuttle passes are limited.


You can also contact Whit to park at his house in Ocean View, and Whit has graciously offered to shuttle folks from his house to downtown Bethany Beach. I recommend that you plan to be at Whit's house by 9am. Whit will also pick up after the parade! Please let Whit know asap if you plan to park at his house as well to ensure your spot on his private shuttle.
