Delaware Will Have Early Voting for the Presidential Primary

Please download and print out the following form (see below) if you are interested in being an Early Voting Poll Worker. If you are selected, you will get a response with your location and times assigned (you may select your location and date preferences.) We do not have a confirmed location for Lewes so that is to be determined. If you worked last cycle and went through Delmarva Temps you do not have to reapply just let me know if you want to work or not. If you are not familiar with Delmarva Temps and want to work, you have to apply through the temp agency because that is how you will be paid for working early voting. As always thank you for being an Election officer.

Best Regards,

Tracey L. Wilkerson

WHAT THE FORM SAYS:

Dear Election Officer,

Delaware now has Early Voting! We will need Election Officers to work during a 10-day period prior to the Election. You do not have to work all 10 days, or you can choose to work as many as you would like.

Please be aware that hours differ from a normal Election Day, some days you will be required to work 10:30 AM to 7PM and some will be 6:30AM to 7PM. Delmarva Temporary Staffing, Inc. will be payrolling the poll workers.  If you are interested, please call them at (302)644-1807 or email them at DTSTEMPS@comcast.net and they can get you the application. All Early Voting Officers will be paid by Delmarva Temporary Staffing at an hourly rate of $15 per hour instead of a flat rate of pay.

We will have 8 locations throughout Sussex County to staff. You will be hired to work though Delmarva Temporary Staffing. Please circle below if you are interested in working during the Early Voting period for either Election. If you are interested in working any Early Voting session, Delmarva Temporary Staffing will reach out to you to complete paperwork and talk about scheduling! If you are assigned to work, you will receive additional correspondence regarding training for Early Voting. This correspondence will show where you will be working and multiple training dates to choose from. You must attend a training class to work the Early Voting cycle. There will be a separate correspondence coming out in May with a list of dates for the Primary and General Elections. If you are assigned to work, you will receive additional correspondence regarding training for Early Voting for State Primary and General. This correspondence will show where you will be working and two training dates to choose from.

You must attend a training class to work the Early Voting cycle.

Thank you for being an Election Officer, without you the elections could not be successful!
