Join the 38th District Southern Delaware Republican Club this Monday, October 5 at 5:30 PM for our October Dinner Meeting at Harpoon Hanna’s in the Maryland Room.

We have a great evening planned: new industry coming to Delaware, the U.S. Senate race, updates from our local elected officials, and the final push toward Election Day.

Get Your Carlie Carey, Doug Hudson, and Gerald Hocker Signs!

Need a Carlie Carey, Doug Hudson, and Gerald Hocker yard sign? We have signs available at the 38th Club Election Headquarters. Email us for the headquarters address and arrange a pickup. Info@38thdrcp.com.

Carlie Carey can’t join us Monday, but the 38th Club is hard at work supporting her campaign for State Representative in the 38th District. And be sure to pick up this week’s Coastal Point and check out our full-page Carlie Carey ad!

Carlie is a Sussex County native, Indian River graduate, small-business owner, mom of three and member of a local farm family. Her campaign is focused on making Delaware more affordable, protecting our coast, making it easier to do business, expanding educational opportunities and planning responsibly for growth. Vote local. Vote Carlie Carey!

Hear from Doug Hudson

Sussex County Councilman Doug Hudson will join us with an update from Sussex County and his reelection campaign in District 4.

Andrew Cottone — Aternium: New Industry Coming to Delaware

We’ll start Monday’s program with Andrew Cottone of Aternium, who will tell us about an emerging industry coming to Delaware and what it could mean for our state and Sussex County.

Come learn about the technology, investment and potential economic opportunities associated with Aternium’s work and what bringing new industries to Delaware could mean for jobs, energy and our local economy.

Dr. Mike Katz — Candidate for U.S. Senate

We’ll also hear directly from Dr. Mike Katz, candidate for U.S. Senate, about his campaign and his priorities for Delaware.

Mike’s platform covers healthcare costs, energy, the economy, housing, education, border security, public safety, veterans and government accountability. Among his proposals are congressional term limits, banning congressional stock trading, greater transparency in federal spending, modernizing the electrical grid and expanding advanced nuclear and modern natural gas alongside economically sustainable renewables.

Come meet Mike, hear what he has to say and bring your questions.

We’ve also invited Joe Arminio to join us Monday evening and hope he’ll be able to make it! He hasn’t been able to confirm his schedule just yet, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed that he can join us.
