Next 38th District Republican Club Meeting

For more information on what is going on in Delaware politics, come to our next 38th District Republican Club meeting, Monday, August 4th, 6:30 pm at the Millville Town Hall on Club House Drive! Guest speaker will be Caesar Rodney Institute, Dave Stevenson, who will talk to us about nuclear energy options in Delaware!

Delaware is considering bringing an enormous data center, which can be a very positive initiative. However, as we have heard, AI consumes massive amounts of electricity. And if the grid is stressed, who will get first dibs on this electricity, homes and schools, or the AI data centers which cannot tolerate even a flicker of lost power? The machines may be deemed more valuable than the people. Delaware is in dire need of a power source. Could it be nuclear?

Another Delaware Republican Party Convention

With the resignation of Julianne Murray from the DE GOP Chair position, this has triggered the need for a Special Convention to elect another Chair. Gene Truono, the current Treasurer of the DE GOP, has answered the call to run for Chair. Gene will be an outstanding Chair, and we fully support him in the role of Chair.

Special Election 20th District - How Is It Going?

The special election in the 20th district is in full swing, with one candidate standing out as clearly more qualified, regardless of party affiliation. Nikki Miller has been actively attending DelDot meetings and engaging as a grassroots community leader for quite some time, dedicating herself to the betterment of the local community. In contrast, the Democratic candidate has not even participated as a voter in several recent local elections. Furthermore, despite being a mother of two young children, Alonna Berry refers to herself, and by implication other mothers, as "birthing people." This term is incredibly disrespectful and insensitive to all mothers, highlighting the lack of regard someone with this perspective would have as a leader and representative of people she seemingly does not respect.

Despite the republican candidate being a much better qualified candidate to represent the 20th District, we will see what the voters of this district say with their votes. So, far, the race is very close.

AI Proves God Is Real

Here is a very interesting demonstration of how AI is not as smart as they want us to believe. AI is a great tool, but tools are only as good as the human being utilizing it. In this video the interviewer demonstrates that AI proves there is an intelligent designer in the universe, yet when asked in simple terms, AI reverts to scanning the web for the most popular answers, instead of reporting truth and facts.
