Our goals in the DE GOP and the 38th will be one thing, to increase Republican Voter Registration. Come to the meeting and we will let you know our plans!
June 5 Referendum
A 30% rise in property tax affects many locals who are living on fixed incomes and paycheck to paycheck.
The IRSD is requesting an additional $25 million in revenue, despite student enrollment remaining unchanged for the past five years. How much has the administrative staff grown?
We aim to assist the school district in improving budgeting, limiting spending, and reducing waste. If you want to join that TEAM, let us know, email info@38thdrcp.com.
Poll Watchers: please save the date, we need YOU.
Second Home Owners CAN vote but must affirm that IRSD their primary residence. Voters will get push back when their driver’s license does not match their address.

Please help us get the word out about this Referendum. We will be placing ads in the Coastal Point and on Billboards. Please donate here. ANY amount helps, even $10! Better $50 today than 30% more in property taxes later!
When many contribute a small amount it makes a BIG difference!
You can request an Absentee Ballot Here. Just specify for Referendum.
The Delaware Democrat Destroyers
The True Delaware Destroyers are the Democrats, and they are definitely BAD TO THE BONE! Sorry, George.

Delaware Governor Meyer Presents a $6.58 Billion Budget for Fiscal Year 2026. The plan includes increased spending, higher income and property taxes, a potential sales tax, and a gas tax increase, all with a reduction in corporate income.
Budget spending is set to grow by 6.9% with a 5% revenue growth in FY 25. Future revenue is projected to decline!

Anticipated to fall to 2% for FY 26
Anticipated to fall to 1.4% for FY 27
Anticipated to fall to 1.6% for FY 28
This will deplete Delaware's reserves!
Increases in Expenditure on:
Education - $119 million designated.
$75.5 million for teacher salary increases, (A yearly raise of over $7,000 per teacher)
$8 million for emergency literacy funding ($37,000 per school)
We support our teacher's salaries. But is more money really the answer??
Housing - $35.5 million for rental assistance and workforce housing programs.
Healthcare - $176 million allocated to healthcare.
1. Funds for Medicaid, already comprising a third of our budget. How will increasing Medicaid funding be impacted when new laws require Medicaid to cover abortions and gender-affirming care?
2. A study on establishing a medical school. They propose spending a quarter million to explore bringing a medical school to Delaware. We already have a Delaware designated medical school, it is Jefferson Medical College, and we have 30 slots annually for Delaware medical students, who would then pay back 4 years of service as a physician in Delaware. Begin by holding these students accountable to this scholarship program!
3. Mental health professionals - While funding can be added for mental health professionals, many positions have remained unfilled for nearly a decade despite funds being allocated to increase mental health staff.
Legislative Update - Senator Gerald Hocker and Rep. Ron Gray
