B. Special Election 20th
Speaker of the House Melissa Minor-Brown has been criticized for failing to address the vacancy (Stell Parker Selby) or take decisive action. In a rare public dissent within her party, Democratic State Representative Madinah Wilson-Anton accused party leadership of deliberately covering up the situation to avoid addressing the lack of representation, as reported in an interview with CoastTV.
C. Grand Opening of the Sussex GOP Office and merch store
D. Big Beautiful Budget Bill passed the House, still in the Senate
1. This bill offers real relief for hardworking families struggling with inflation. It delivers the largest tax cut in American history, putting an extra $5,000 back in Americans’ pockets. Families earning between $30,000 and $80,000 will see their tax bills drop by 15%. The bill eliminates taxes on tips and overtime, increases the child tax credit to $2,500, and creates Trump Savings Accounts for newborns.
2. President Trump is delivering on his promise to secure the border and now we need to help make it permanent by passing this bill that provides the largest border security investment in history, hiring 10,000 new ICE agents, 5,000 customs officers, and 3,000 Border Patrol agents. We will finally complete President Trump’s border wall, constructing 701 miles of primary wall and hundreds of additional miles of barriers to stop deadly fentanyl from flowing into our communities.
Compare 0 releases of illegal aliens into the US in May 2025, vs 62,000 May 2024.

X. Delaware Legislative Report: end of Session June 30th "Get The First State Right!"
A. Republican Efforts
1. The United States Supreme Court on June 18th upheld a (TN) state’s right to protect minors from experimental gender mutilation. ACLU.
2. Meanwhile, on June 20th, Delaware’s Governor Matt Meyer signed an executive order (11) to shield the gender mutilation industry – not the children.
3. Delaware is refusing to protect their minors from the biggest medical scandal in recent history. Make your voice heard! Sign the petition from Delaware Family Policy Council below to hold our government accountable for their harm to Delaware’s children!
4. In February of 2025, Senator Richardson filed Senate Bill 55 – the SAFE Act – which would have banned gender medical professionals from prescribing or performing surgeries or drugs intended to transition a minor’s gender. SB 55 was heard in the Senate Health and Social Services Committee on March 19th, and was not released from committee.
5. HB 75 A victim of child sexual abuse that occurred in this State who has been barred from filing suit against the victims abuser by virtue of the expiration of a former civil statute of limitations are permitted to file these claims in the Superior Court of this state at any time. This is intended to apply retroactively.
B. Delaware Democrat Destroyers Counter Measures
1. No Kings Day
2. SB 150

XI. Guest Speaker – Doug Hudson, President, Sussex County Council
A. SB 159. DNREC website shows a beautiful ocean scene, NOT the vision they really want of offshore wind turbines! The recent hearing was mostly attended by supporters of foreign owned offshore wind turbines vs. an actual poll of residents, as done by the Caesar Rodney Institute.
B. Current lawsuit: Caesar Rodney Institute vs DNREC.
C. Campaign to make phone calls - How many called/emailed?
D. "I just called everyone in that committee in the Demo section... I had a script and it took me only 15 minutes to complete the calls!!! I'm going to call them again tomorrow!!" - Sandra, 38th Member.
