Bethany Beach Independence Day Parade – Join the 38th District Republican Club!

As America celebrates the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, there's no better time to show your patriotism! Join the 38th District Republican Club and the Southern Delaware Republican Club as we continue one of our favorite traditions by participating in the 2026 Bethany Beach Independence Day Parade on Friday, July 3. Let's celebrate 250 years of freedom while supporting our Republican candidates and the values that make America exceptional.



As always, State Senator Gerald Hocker and State Representative Ron Gray will be leading the way. This year, they'll be joined by Mike Katz, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, and Carlie Carey, Republican candidate for the 38th Representative District.


This is a great opportunity to show our Republican enthusiasm and support the candidates who are working hard to represent us. We'll be walking together in the parade, although decorated bicycles are also welcome.


Parade Details

📅 Date: Friday, July 3, 2026

🕛 Meet by: 11:00 a.m.

🎉 Parade Step-Off: 12:00 p.m.

📍 Lineup Area: Pennsylvania Avenue, Bethany Beach


Wear your favorite patriotic clothing and Republican gear, and bring American flags and campaign signs to help us celebrate America's 250th birthday in style!


Parking fills quickly on parade day, but I have several parking recommendations that should make getting to the lineup much easier. If you'd like my parking suggestions or would like to carry the 38th District Republican Club banner, simply email me here, and I'll be happy to help. The club banner will be available for pickup at my home in Fenwick Island before the parade.


While I won't be able to join you this year, I'll be with the Caesar Rodney Institute representing Delaware at the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C., as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary. I know our 38th District Republicans will have a fantastic turnout and make us all proud!
