The South Coastal Library is unexpectedly closed, so we had to make a quick change. Please help us spread the word! We have a lot to talk about!

How Is the Primary Going?
We will be right in the middle of the Republican Primary, with Election Day coming up on September 15. We’ll review what we are seeing so far, where turnout stands, and what we need to do in the final stretch.
We’ll also hear the latest from our local elected officials and candidates, including Doug Hudson, Carlie Carey, Senator Gerald Hocker and Rep. Ron Gray.
How Are Our Students Really Doing?
We’ll also be joined by Indian River School District Board President Mark Steele for an important discussion about the latest student performance findings in our district.
This won’t just be about test scores. We want to talk about what those numbers are telling us and, more importantly, what the School Board and district plan to do about them.
We’ll discuss some of the biggest issues affecting student success, including:
Reading and math performance
Attendance and chronic absenteeism
Discipline and classroom environment
Student accountability
Academic intervention and support
What the district and School Board are doing next
If you have children or grandchildren in our schools, pay school taxes, employ our graduates—or simply care about the future of our community—this is a conversation worth hearing.
