Honoring the Life and Legacy of Charlie Kirk - Candlelight & Prayer Vigil 9/14/25

The day before 9/11, 2025 will now be remembered as the day that America lost one of her strongest and most courageous voices for truth. Charlie Kirk represented not only truth, but also compassion and bravery, to engage with those who wanted to hear the truth the least.

We mourn the loss of his presence, his conviction, and what he represented - the best of our nation, our right to speak freely. His life was taken to silence him and to instill fear in those of us who would also choose to speak freely. I have heard that fear from many of you, and I feel that fear myself. But Charlie Kirk did what we do: he stood up for what is right, and we all must continue to do the same.


Yes, there IS hate in this country. Those who celebrate the murder of Charlie Kirk are proof of that. And yes, that hate lives right here in our community in our idyllic 38th. But we will carry on, and we will continue to speak the truth. There is so much shame on the left. Those who do not denounce the actions of his assassination are lost. We will speak to those who can hear the truth and pray they join the Good Ordinary People (GOP).


This Sunday, we will gather to honor the life, memory, and legacy to come of Charlie Kirk at the Georgetown Circle 5: 30p.m. Please bring a candle or light, as a symbol of hope, faith and the enduring fight for truth. Together, let us honor his life by carrying forward the mission he lived for.
