Bethany Beach 4th of July Parade

Get ready to participate in the Bethany Beach 4th of July downtown parade! The 38th District Republican Club will participate in this iconic parade this year, along with Representative Ron Gray. We will have several stylish convertibles, a jeep and walkers (YOU) to carry US flags and pass out patriotic stickers and flags to children of all ages. We will also have our NEW 38th Club banner to show off! Thank you Pack family for the donation!

Parking will be at Whit's house near downtown Bethany, and we will provide shuttle service to the parade staging area for your convenience. The parade route is pretty short, and we will provide a ride back to Whit's house to pick up your vehicle. Email me here if you can participate in the Bethany Beach 4th of July parade and display our 38th District Republican pride! (I will email you Whit's address for parking information).

Monday's Meeting

We had a fantastic meeting with lots of new faces and high motivation to get involved. Several folks signed up to help with cleaning up the voter rolls, thank you! Our featured business was In-And-Out Tire Pros, with Bill Schriber, who donated the Royal Flush complete car package, thank you, Bill!! The lucky winner was our own Vice RDC, Rick, congrats! Representative Gray gave us the legislative update, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We also learned more about 2 software programs to help get out the republican vote from DE GOP Executive Director, Nick Miles. If you would like to learn more, we can set up a time to chat, email me here . Don't forget to download the DE GOP app to your smart phone!

Hearing on Fairness in Girls' Sports Act

Senator Bryant Richardson proposed the bill Senate Bill 191 to protect girls sports in Delaware, so that only biological girls could play on girls sports. Attorney Tom Neuberger, who is known for his efforts to protect womens' sports as relates to Title IV, and Dr. Michelle Parsons, MD were expert witnesses in support of the bill at the Senate hearing today. Nandi Randolph of the Delaware Family Policy Council also spoke to protect fairness in girls' sports. The opposition expressed no interest in protecting girls from injury when forced to compete against biologic males nor any loss of placement they would face thereby losing out on recognition and scholarship opportunities. The left's number one agenda was to protect the privileges of biologic boys who transitioned to girls.
